It was wonderful news to learn that the latest shipment of goods for Timor Lestè had arrived securely and been distributed to their intended destination.

It was fortunate that Daryl (Manager Rotary International Dili Office), Judite (Finance Manager), Trevor (Coordinator Rotary International Donations in Kind, Scarborough District 9455) and Patricia (Rotary International District Governor 9455) were there to ensure the accurate delivery of so many boxes.

Included in this delivery were school goods for Sr.Theodora (at St Francis of Assisi school) as well as 3 electric sewing machines (and materials etc) which will enable her to set up a sewing class. Her aim is to teach students skills that will enable the girls to establish a cottage industry, so they can earn an income when they leave school and return to their home village.
